Today is Easter Sunday.  It is a day in which the message of Easter tells us:  Don’t give up; don’t quit; don’t throw in the towel.  This life is not all that there is.  Stay tuned.  There is much more to come.  You and I need that message, probably more than we know.  I suspect that that is the reason more people return to the Church on Easter than any other day of the year.  Somehow we know that human life cannot find its total expression within the limits of time.  Everything here, everything around us and within us cries […]

Today is Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week 2020.  This week started with Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem and ended with his tragic death on Calvary.  In a sense, it is very strange that this week should be called holy.  As we walked through it, unfolding before our eyes was a scene of deception and dishonor, betrayal and denial, political expedience and religious corruption, all of which culminated in the greatest crime of history.  Judged by the scenery, this could easily be called Hell Week.  But the strength and courage of one man took those seven days of shame […]

                During this present crisis we pray that all of you and your family stay safe and healthy.  And yet, we are reminded that each reported case of the Corona virus has behind it a person, a family, a community.  We as a church, are called to be in prayer for those affected, those caring for the sick, and those valiantly trying to diagnose and treat patients.  As members of the parish of Annunciation-Our Lady of Fatima, we offer our prayers for healing and support for all affected.           […]

Current Mass Schedule

Annunciation-Our Lady of Fatima is open for Sunday and weekday masses, baptisms, weddings, funerals, and memorial masses.  The churches is only able to sit at 25% capacity.  Face coverings must be worn in church.  We encourage everyone to bring hand sanitizer since our directives indicate that hands need to be sanitized before reception of communion.  Hand sanitizer is available in both churches, if needed.  Please note:  we will no longer be offering a 5 PM mass on Sundays at Annunciation Church.   The following schedule is in effect: Weekday Masses: Annunciation Church: Monday – Friday morning:  6:45 AM and 9 AM […]
