Congratulations Fr. Grippo!

Congratulations are in order for Fr. Grippo, who has been appointed to another 6 year term as Pastor here at Annunciation-Our Lady of Fatima!  The letter below is from Cardinal Dolan to Fr. Grippo announcing the good news.

Good-bye to Fr. Kareem!

We wish Fr. Kareem Smith a fond farewell as he gets ready to leave Annunciation-Our Lady of Fatima for his new assignment.  He has been reassigned as an Associate to the parish of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Shrub Oak, NY beginning on July 1st.  We are sure that you share our expressions of thanks to Fr. Kareem for his three years of dedicated and loving service to our parish and our school.  Fr. Kareem, you will be missed!

Welcome Fr. Robert Carolan!

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to newly ordained, Father Carolan, as our new Associate.  He grew up in Yorktown Heights, was a parishioner at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Shrub Oak, and was enrolled in the parish school there before later graduating from Yorktown High School. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in applied sociology from East Carolina University in North Carolina and a Master’s in physical education in sports pedagogy from Manhattanville College in Purchase.  Fr. Fr. Chris Argano’s New Assignment

Fr. Chris Argano, the Vocation Director of the Archdiocese of NY, who has been in residence here at our parish since 2016, has a new assignment!  He has been named Pastor of St. Mary’s Church in Washingtonville and St. Columba in Chester, NY.  His new placement begins on July 1st and we wish him well in this new venture.  Congratulations!

Many thousands of people, caught in the grasp of some personal tragedy, have said, or least thought: “If God will do so, He can cure me.”  When trouble comes and  human solutions fail, most of us think of God.  And our first reaction is the same as that of many people – if God were so inclined, He could solve this problem and set things right.
