The Living Stations of the Cross will be presented by the youth of our parish under the direction of Jeannie Sweeney on Friday, April 12th at 7 pm at Annunciation Church. (Stations of the Cross will still be held at Our Lady of Fatima at 7:30 pm as well.)
The Annual Bake Sale in the Annunciation Gym begins after the 5 pm Mass on Saturday, April 13th and continues on Sunday, April 14th after Masses until 1:30 pm. We will be selling refreshments and baked goods as well as flowers and palm crosses. (Baked goods will also be sold outside of morning masses at Our Lady of Fatima on Sunday, April 14th.) Baked goods may be donated on April 13th between 11 am and 3 pm at the back door of the Annunciation School kitchen on St. Eleanora’s Lane. Please support this wonderful community event! Thank you!
Some time ago, as you may recall, I wrote to you that it is certainly appropriate for we Catholics to vote as Catholics. But this still leaves a number of difficult questions for us to consider. It is one thing to say that we will let the principles of our Catholic faith be our guide. It is quite another thing to apply those principles to real political choices today.
