Parish Picnic – Sept. 22

Saturday, September 22nd will be the Annual Parish Picnic sponsored by the Men’s Club!  All parish families are invited to Schultz Field from 12 pm to dusk.  Hot dogs, burgers, cold salads and the trimmings will be provided.  Bring your own drinks, sides and snacks.  It should be a fun day for everyone!

Knights of Columbus Annual Football Trip – Sept. 8

Join the Knights of Columbus for their annual Football Trip to West Point on Saturday, September 8th to see the Army vs. Liberty University game at the historic Michie Stadium!  Tickets are $125 per adult and $75 per child which includes ticket, transportation, fully catered tailgate, continental breakfast and more!  Contact Joe Larson at joegk@yahoo.com to reserve your spot!

Religious Education Registration Packet is Available!

Registration for 2018-19 Religious Education program will begin on Monday, August 13 via mail or drop off.  You may also register in-person on Wednesday, September 12 from 3:30 until 6PM in the Annunciation School gym.  The registration process is: Fill out the registration form.  (click below to print)  Please be sure to fill out both pages completely and sign the bottom of the second page. If your child has allergies, please fill out the allergy agreement. If you are registering a 1st year student or a new student, please attach a copy of his or her baptismal certificate to the application form.  It is a commonly known fact that people of the ancient world believed there were many gods.  In the early biblical history, each nation was thought to have its own deity whom they worshiped and upon whom they depended for the necessities of life.  Later, in the times of the Greek and Roman empires, people believed in gods who overreached national boundaries but had limited categories of concern and responsibility.  For example, there was Apollo, god of the sun; Bacchus, god of wine; Minerva, goddess of wisdom; and Venus, goddess of love and beauty.
