Virtual Ceremony & Veteran Convoy – Monday, May 25 starting at 10:30am

Sponsored by the American Legion Ernest Pasqua Post #1506

While this Memorial Day is different, our Commitment remains true.

Crestwood’s long-held tradition of honoring Memorial Day cannot be broken and will remain true during this unique time in history.

All are invited to watch online; the link will be available from the Post’s website.

After the ceremony concludes at 11am, a veteran convoy will assemble at the normal starting point (St. Eleonora’s Lane) and make its way through the Crestwood neighborhood of Yonkers. Neighbors can view from their yards as the convoy makes its way through the streets of Crestwood (route to be published online on Saturday). Please wave flags, applaud, cheer, wear scout uniforms, and join with our veterans as we together honor those who have given so much to our Country.

Poppies:  Poppies will be available from 12noon to 2pm at the American Legion Plaza near the Crestwood Train Station, Vermont Terrace. Please practice social distancing. Donations are welcome and will benefit programs for disabled and injured veterans.

Spread the Word/Share a Link:  Please forward this email and the short video clip with your friends, family, clubs, organizations and all Veterans.–hcM
