Memorial Day Parade – May 27

Memorial Day Parade &  Ceremony on May 27th. Sponsored by American Legion Ernest Pasqua Post #1506.

Parade begins at 10:00 am at  St. Eleanora’s Lane. Ceremony at 10:30 am at the American Legion Plaza near the Crestwood train station.

In the event of heavy rain, the parade will be cancelled. The 10:30 am ceremony will still be at 10:30 am, but will be moved to the Annunciation School Gym.

 – Veterans interested in marching or joining the American Legion Post should please call Glenn Sadowski at (914) 318-9396.

– Convertible Cars Needed for Veterans’ Motorcade: Call Glenn Sadowski by Thursday, 5/23. Drivers should arrive at 9:30 am on May 27th and are encouraged to decorate their vehicles.

 – Cupcake, Cookie & Brownie Donations: Bring to the American Legion Plaza by 9:30 am on May 27th. Contact the Parade Committee to sign up for motorcade or baking at Crestwood.VeteransPost1506@gmail.com

– Monetary donations to defray Parade expenses will be gladly accepted at the cupcake/refreshment area.

Scouts Collecting Worn Out U.S. Flags.  Please give your worn out and tattered U.S. flags to a Cub Scout or Boy Scout during Crestwood’s Memorial Day Parade on May 27th. The scouts will properly retire the flags.
