Adult Faith Formation
Purpose, mission, outreach, using my gifts and talents, serving others, understanding how God works in my life, living life with peace and joy, accepting and moving on from past mistakes, growing spiritually and feeling fulfilled in my daily life. – these are some of the benefits that come from participating in adult faith formation activities, courses, ministries and retreats.
You are not alone if you have doubts or questions about your faith or God. You are not alone if you are enthusiastic about your faith, while others around you are not. Check out some of our parish groups/ministries and the various events that are advertised throughout the year. Feel free to contact Tony MacDonnell if you have any questions about how to get started or would just like to chat about the role of God, faith, Church in your life.

The Annunciation Players was created in 1980. Initially, it was the brainstorm of the Home School Association and other interested parishioners. The purpose was to present a musical talent show with chorus and production numbers and a cast consisting of children and adults performing songs, musical numbers and comic skits etc. Last year’s production was a smash hit!
Now known as the Annunciation-Our Lady of Fatima Players, the group has grown to become a family with close ties to one another. Many friendships have been created and we enjoy performing for the parish. We invite you to join our family of players or come watch our next production.

Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month and there is an annual trip to St. Joseph’s seminary for a meeting of all the Westchester councils. There is also a fall tea where money is raised through the raffle of a quilt and pillows. A speaker is invited to some meetings, and refreshments are served. To conclude the year’s activities, a June luncheon is held. Volunteers serve in a number of institutions and service programs in our area. Many women knit, crochet or sew on a continuing basis for places such as Rosary Hill, Pregnancy Care Center, The Catholic Home Bureau and Bedford Hills Children’s Center. Some of the ladies participate in the various hospice programs in the area. The ladies also help prepare food for the soup kitchen, and participate as lectors, as Eucharistic ministers, in the Ministry to Elders, Sick and Homebound and on the Parish Council.
