We are hosting our fall Parish Blood Drive on Sunday, October 20th from 9:00am – 3:00pm in the Annunciation School classrooms.  Thank you to all the dedicated donors within our community. As our blood supply constantly needs to be replenished, we greatly encourage those who can donate to please do so.

Unfortunately, many individuals do not realize different blood cells are essential in patients’ treatments and procedures until it hits home.  If you know someone who has either had cancer, leukemia, undergone a transplant, recovered from a serious burn, or has fallen victim to a serious trauma, they have most likely received red cells, platelets, or plasma.

Donating blood not only helps the patients who receive the donation, but their family and friends as well.  It’s truly a positive ripple effect of one random act of kindness.  To donate you must be at least 16 years of age. (16-year-old donors require parental consent on NYBC form.) Donors age 76 or over may donate with a note from their physician.

Please bring a friend to donate with along with valid photo ID.

On behalf of our local patients, thank you!
